
The Atlanta Legacy Trail was a SCADpro project that was done in collaboration with Compass Real Estate. This interactive marketing campaign was a way to start Compass' legacy in a city so deeply rooted in history by celebrating historic locations around Atlanta.
Overview
Compass came to a group of SCAD students across all majors with an ask--how can we show our loyalty to legacy? The company opened up its office in Atlanta shortly before the pandemic hit, and didn't have a chance to connect with the community. A big part of Atlanta's charm is how it blends history with the future. Thus began our journey to start their legacy.



My Role
My role in this project included researching and co-leading the copywriting team. The research conducted resulted in partnerships with all the houses to be a part of the trail. We got to know these locations to celebrate their stories and bring them into the larger narrative of the city's history. These stories were shared on the Atlanta Legacy Trail website along with a dedicated social media page.
Our Impact
While the success of this project could've been measured in numbers or statistics, our biggest successes came in the form of community engagement:
